The Pelion ski centre of Agriolefkes is one of the most famous and popular in all of Greece, and during the winter months, visitors from all over Greece and beyond head to Pelion to enjoy ski and winter sports at the facility on Mount Pelion.
Agriolefkes is one of the best international standard ski centres, and situated at an altitude of 1500 meters, the unique and inspiring panoramic views will inspire all who witness them. The ski centre of Agriolefkes is located just 2km from the village of Hania where the "Hotel Toxotes" is located, and many visitors to the ski centre choose to stay in Hania because of it's close proximity. There are several ski slopes at Agriolefkes and combined, make a total of 5000 meters of slopes. For those who have never skied before or who are youngsters, there is a ski school that operates here where you can take some beginners lessons.
As well as ski, there are facilities here at the Pelion ski centre for snowboarding and artillery ski. There is also a restaurant and cafe bar that sells refreshments. What makes this ski centre unique is the amazing views that you will see here. From one side you can look out towards the Aegean sea, and from the other, you can gaze down at the Pagasitic Gulf. During the summer months, the ski centre is also used for 4x4, trekking and mountain biking.

As well as the ski centre, there are a whole range of interesting places and things to see around Pelion. You will find a wide selection of churches and monasteries scattered across the peninsula, and these are well worth visiting to admire some of the icons and works on art inside. In the summer months, visitors will have the chance to bathe and relax at some of the best beaches in all of Greece. There are also many festivals and celebrations that take during the summer with traditional dance and music, as well as food and wine. Everyone is welcome to attend these festivals and join in with the celebrations. Pelion is truly a holiday destination that is perfect anytime of the year.
